Electric energy can be generated with the help of many sources but the most efficient and a renewable source of energy is the solar energy, which is nothing, but the energy generated with the help of the solar heat that is scorched form the sun. Sun being the ultimate source of heat and light man wondered why could this be converted in to electricity and then come out with this wonderful idea of converting this heat energy into power. They are done with two methods one majorly being the conversion using the direct method under which the heat of the sun is directly used and other is indirectly heating a water and bringing it to boil and then generating power out of it. The direct being called as the “photovoltaic” and the indirect method is called as the “concentrating solar power”. They are said to have the ability to generate 1000 times the actual power required all through the world for consumption therefore the utilization of this energy to the optimum can solve all the problems in this world that leads to global warming as that is the major concern of the world today. They do not emit any poisonous gases like the carbon dioxide, which the other form of the power generation technique does and it helps by giving methods to do it in the houses individually thereby reducing the cost the government might have to incur if it had to do for its entire population. If the size of the energy grows two or three times, the energy every year then the solar power could become one of the most important sources of power. The fact with solar power is that it is not available all through it has certain specific time period when it is available in a particular part of the country. Another important factor is that it might available at some other part of the world when it is night here therefore the generation can be all through only if we take the entire globe into consideration not a particular country. We can be accurate enough in predicting the amount of the power that would be generated given a period, as there are times apart from the nightfall when the solar power would not be available like on an extremely cloudy day or rainy day. Otherwise, it is considered one of the best sources of power.
