Energy is found in nature in so many forms. Electricity is also a form of energy. The energy and electricity is both one and the same thing. But energy can be of many different types other than electricity. The heat energy, chemical energy, kinetic energy etc are the different types of the energy. Energy is always inter changeable. This means that the energy in one form can be converted to another form. The amount of energy which is totally present in the Universe is constant and never changes. The energy can never be destroyed, and never be annihilated. The energy can only be converted from one form to another.

Electricity can be generated from so many sources. The hydro electric energy is the type of energy produced when water falls at a high velocity from an elevated source. The other method of production of electrical energy is by conversion of chemical energy in to electrical energy as in batteries. Another method is by conversion of the mechanical energy in to electrical energy, for example in the wind turbines. The mechanical rotation of the blades of the wind turbine creates mechanical energy. This mechanical energy is then converted in to electrical energy.

Another method is by the solar energy. The light of the sun is transmitted to earth from the Sun. The light of the sun is nothing but electro magnetic radiations. The conversion of the light of the sun in to electrical energy also generates electricity.

There are other methods like production of electricity by bio fuels etc. The magnetic energy is also converted in to electrical energy to create electricity. This is the technique used in the dynamos.

What ever the method of production of the electricity, it is highly utilized for every day tasks and also for specialized processes and industries too. The only trouble with electricity is that it is quite pricey, at present. People literally struggle to pay their monthly power bills. The conventional methods of producing electricity are not enough any more, and the energy resources which are being used currently are fast getting depleted. This puts a strong emphasis on the need to generate new methods, and try to harness natural methods for the energy production. Also the Global Warming sure is an issue which needs to be urgently addressed and that makes the need for a natural or green or environmental friendly source of electrical energy and all types of energy, very soon.
