Of course, you should not expect great effectiveness- a solar collector of this kind will heat around 50 liters of water and a solar generator will produce between 20 and 30 kilowatts. Once again, I can assure you that you will not have any problems with the installing because everything is explained in a very simple and detailed way in the manual- so you will certainly not need academic math and technical knowledge!

However, if your financial problems are so serious that you cannot afford to spend even $500, then you can construct a solar collector or solar generator by your own. By doing this, you will not only get free solar energy but your appliance will be free also. What could be better than that?! But the activity of constructing such a thing is very serious and you should take it up only if you are very knowledgeable about math and technique. For example, you should know things like which material attracts more sun rays and energy, which material has to be used for the water tank and so on. However, I really do not recommend this way of getting a solar installation since it could be extremely dangerous for you and your family; the chance you mess it up is not slight at all even if you are very knowledgeable in the area.
