With the usage of batteries, this captured light energy can be stored for cloudy days and nights.

The houses when constructed should be designed in such a way that the windows of the house receive maximum light during the daytime. In fact, even special building materials can be used to retain this heat captured. This captured heat, which is in turn stored, can be used for a wide range of things from heating water to cooking.
