Led Light Energy 

The Led lights are in use since the 60’s. However, their use was restricted to the equipments in the laboratory, were they were used in replacing the incandescent indicators. Apart from it, the common people were acquaintance with them as the display replacement tools in the televisions, calculators, radios and the watches. It is very recently that the technology in the Led lights is advanced because if this prices are brought down significantly. So much that now they can be purchased easily for the domestic as well as the commercial purposes. There is wide range of the bulbs that are available and there is one for every need. Be it outdoors or indoors. Many parts in the world are experiencing acute power shortage and as a result, there is tremendous pressure on the business houses as well as the government so that they adopt the power saving measures. Under these circumstances, the Led lights have golden days waiting for them ahead. 

This is a very new concept, and so that the readers can arrive at a fair judgment, here are the advantages and the disadvantages of the LED lights that we have combined in this article. 

The Advantages. 

The appliance that compete in the market today strive to prove how energy efficient they are and if this is the criterion then I must say that when it comes to energy saving no other appliance is even close to this one. Moreover, the LED bulbs can be operational for more than 11 years even after subjected to continuous use. If the use is for half of the day then they can last for more than 22 years. Whereas the life the low voltage bulbs is 10% of the light of the Led bulbs and the light of the incandescent bulbs ids just 5% of their life.  

The breakup of the electricity is in terms of the energy that is utilized to produce light and the remaining is the electricity that is lost because of the heat produced. The incandescent light converts 20% electricity into the light while the remaining is lost because of the tremendous heat. Exact opposite is the case with the LED lights. 

Disadvantages. 

The price can be the only constraint that is responsible why the Led lights are not as common as the other lights. Its production I not undertaken on a large scale and therefore the relative cost is a bit high which normally the people will not be able to spend as long they have the option of the low voltage lights.
