Make Renewable Energy

Before you know of ways of making renewable energy, you must first understand the basics of renewable energy.

What is renewable energy? The statement, renewable energy, simply means source of energy that can not be depleted. Others may define it, in other words, as an efficient reliable source of energy that can be used consistently with no adversities to the environment. In all the explanations, the common ideology is focused on the term ‘undepletable’ if I may make it simpler.

The benefits of such energy sources are quite numerous. They make everything that directly uses energy for its production generally cheap. This is because the energy can be reused time and again for the production of electric power thus making it a cheap resource.

Here are some of the currently being explored options used to make renewable energy:

Water

Water is the most common of the renewable energy. However, its application is limited due to expensive machinery used to effect such a production. It involves constructions of power plants which have to be located near water bodies- mostly rivers.

The rivers have to have a sizeable amount of water; and in addition to that, they must flow at high speeds. In reality, such rivers are rare. Such fast flowing waters can be found near water falls and are tapped for electricity. However, these places may not be dependable throughout the year and hence man-made methods have been improvised to recreate speedy currents in water. This is through the construction of dams and water reservoirs in rivers. The magnitudes of the waters held back in the dam significantly determine the power outage of the power plant. The technique in this system is that water is let to seep through narrow paths, thus increasing its speed. This is used to turn turbines and consequently result in electric discharges which are harvested and supplied where needed.

Solar

Solar is the second of the widely used renewable energy. It basically involves the assembly of structures that glare at the suns rays and convert this to energy which is stored chemically in dry cells for use. Currently, China leads in manufacture of solar energy based accessories.

Wind

Wind energy is quite limited and practiced only in highly developed nations with the abilities to venture in side activities of energy production. Large scale production has not been fully initiated but its future is quite promising in the creation of green energy.
