With the increased concerns around the climatic changes which are pointing towards global warming and the speed at which we are running out of the fossil fuels, it is the responsibility of each and every country to run national energy efficiency initiatives to ensure that their nation is conscious about the energy conservation.

It is only when the nation takes the first step through the national energy efficiency plans and promotions; the people in the country get more insight on the prevalent situation. As there can’t be a program which could be run for the entire world, for obvious reasons but the heads of various nations are getting together to ponder on the situation and to find out the ways and means in which they could launch the national energy efficiency programs in their respective countries, to have a good impact. It is only when the nations would come together forgetting about the economical and political conflicts, we as humans would be able to fight through this damage that we have caused to the environment.

Taking their individual national energy efficiency agenda from this common world energy efficiency drive, the nations could spread the light in their respective countries. It is like lighting the torches and then lighting the candles from that torch to make the world visible. When the national energy efficiency plans are executed in individual countries, the common man would realize that it is not for the country or the world leaders to ponder about what to do or how to use energy in the most efficient way, but it is them who need to take these small steps, which would make a great overall impact in conserving fossil fuels and using available resources more efficiently.

If each and every individual, household or from the business & manufacturing unit when would think about energy efficiency and using fossil fuels in the most efficient manner – there is no way that the changes would become visible globally. To make the national energy efficiency plans even more effective, nations have started to promote the use of renewable energy resources rather than burning the fossil fuel. As this would have dual impact of saving the environment as well as conserving the fossil fuels. In fact, including the use renewable resources in the national energy efficiency initiatives would mean paving a path for the renewable energy future for the country. The sooner a country would reach there, the better future the country in question would have.
