Nrel Renewable Energy

The National Renewable Energy Laboratory, situated in Golden, Colorado is the apex body of US involved primarily in sustained effort in research and development of renewable energy. It saw its dawn in 1974 but began its full-fledged operations in 1977. The NREL faced numerous fluctuations under different administrations. It is the only federal laboratory wholly involved in the work of intelligent deployment and commercialization of energy saving technologies.
