Installing your own solar energy system benefits people for years, you save thousands of dollars and also actively help the environment by using a clean form of energy. The benefits of solar energy include - saving money on electricity, helping the environment, energy even during blackouts and selling of surplus energy. The United States, Germany and Japan are the leading producers of solar energy. California has recently introduced an initiative investing 3 billion us$ for promoting solar energy. This form of energy which was the first energy source used by mankind could well be the last and final form used by humanity.
