The limited resources pool and the global warming are proving to be the two pressing points that are promoting the use of renewable resources over non renewable resources. There are endless initiates that are carried out all around the world to ensure the message of focusing more on the use resources which could be renewed, is heard loud and clear. There are programs and exhibitions which are helping to promote the use and making the people more and more aware of the technology which supports the renewable. Renewable energy 2008 expo is one of the examples for the same.
Renewable energy 2008 expo was one of the events which took place in South Africa back in 2008. This was an exhibition which took place in the sandton convention centre at Johannesburg. The renewable energy 2008 expo had many power events under the same roof. These would include - power generation world; renewable energy world; transmission & distribution world; onsite power and energy efficiency world. Along with these, there was some additional power events included as well.
Renewable energy 2008 expo was for two days. There were 4 presentation theaters where the visitors learnt about the latest technology and products which would support the renewable resources over the non renewable ones. These theaters were themed around the power events mentioned above. The renewable energy 2008 expo had participants and visitors from across countries. There were specific country pavilions in the renewable energy 2008 expo. These country specific pavilions would have the latest products and technology for cutting down the use of the non renewable resources. This expo was not only the most educative and informative one, but at the same time it got the attention from the various countries, and the serious consideration about shifting from the convention machinery to the one which consumes the renewable resources where thought through.
