The renewable energy discoveries are coming one after the other and there is news coming up every day. You will not believe the progress which the scientists have already made and it seems like very soon they are going to make a new breakthrough which will open many new doors to the alternative energy sources. And in this article I am going to inform you about the latest renewable energy news which were spread several and even hours days ago.

There is very hot news about the Sweden Wind Turbines. Their construction plan has already been made and the constructors’ deadline is March 1st 2020. You should not think that it is a lot because the project is about 2000 wind turbines which are going to produce electricity for more than 10 000 households. By taking this step, Sweden will be one of the countries which use most renewable energy in the world. Even now Sweden is at the top of the list as 20 per cent of the generated electricity is production from renewable sources but when the project is finished the percentage will go up to 50!

Some hot news about China also- the country is planning to increase the percentage of electricity produced by renewable energy. At present, the country generates 10 per cent of the electricity from renewable energy sources but they intend to reach 15 per cent by the end of 2020. You should not think it is little because China produces much more electricity than Sweden and by a five-per-cent increase it will actually produce a hundred times more kilowatts than the Sweden will do! The government in China is going to spend billions of dollars and some of the plans are: building solar plants and hundreds of wind farms. And of course millions of dollars is also going to be spent on research as an attempt for discovering a more efficient way for generating electricity from renewable energy sources.

As you can see a lot of countries are doing their best to increase the rate of produced electricity from renewable sources. The USA, UK and EU are also making their plans to save the environment. Let’s not forget that it was EU which organized the conference in Copenhagen several months ago where all presidents and prime ministers discussed the problem which the whole world needs to solve- the global warming. Unfortunately, we have to remind that important decisions were not made and all efforts which were made by some of the countries in the EU were for nothing!
