Wind energy of wind power is basically the conversion of the wind strength and the energy into electricity or any form of useful energy. This is done with the use of different machinery, wind turbines are used for the production of the electricity while wind mills are used in the production of the mechanical power. There is also this machinery called the wind pump, which is used exclusively for the pumping of water out from the ground to the top, this mechanism is also used in propping up the sails in ships and the boat. With power and energy needed in this technocracy world, the production of these powers and energy is also very much necessary for the usage in many other processes. There are like huge networks of windmill farms which all aim at producing power in a huge amount like power in gig watts. There are also many small firms or farms which provide electricity for only a particular region. Wind energy is a very good substitute for other energy process like the burning up of the fossil fuels.  

      Among many countries which provide the wind energies, there is an Indian based company called the Suzlon which was founded during the year 1995, with its headquarters at Pune in India, it has many branches in about twenty one countries like Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sri Lanka, Netherlands, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom and the United States of America. The manufacturing units are present in Maharashtra, Pondicherry, Gujarat, Daman, Padubidi, Tianjin, Pipestone, and Minnesota. The research and development unit of this group of energy producing company is situated in Denmark, Germany, India and Netherlands.  

      Some achievements of this company includes, supplying the whole world with about eight thousand MW all across the world, it also registers a growth rate of almost hundred percent, this company was also ranked the third leading wind power equipment manufacturer. This company maintains its market leadership until today. The above were some activities or achievement until the year 2009. During the year 2009 the champion of the earth was provided to the founder of the manufacturing unit, Tulsi Tanti. This is because this method of power extraction is very environment friendly and cheap too. The award of global Indian was again awarded to the founder in order to honor him. This company has a special place in the share market of not just in India but also in the countries where it has its manufacturing unit setup.
