Vestas Wind Energy
Vestas Wind Energy was formed by the collaboration of Vestjysk stalteknik A/S, who were into the business of manufacturing household appliances, agricultural appliances etc with NEG Micon, a Danish Wind Turbine manufacturer, in the year 2003. It was in 2009 that the company released two 2 of the then state of the art turbines, the 1.8 megawatt turbine V100 and the 3 megawatt turbine V112.
Today Vestas Wind Energy operates in over 63 countries, employing over 20,000 staff members and functioning in five continents in the world. Globally they have installed over 39,000 turbines worldwide. They operate in countries such as the United States Of America, India, Australia, Germany, Norway etc to name a few.
They are now the world’s largest and leading windmill as well as turbine manufacturers in the world with a share of 28 % in the market share.
They believe that wind is the only natural resource that has limitless boundaries over geographical areas. Wind energy should be harnessed as it does not produce any carbon dioxide in the production of energy, but also at the very same time, facilitates power at a reasonable rate, thus reducing the power requirements in many of the cities and villages that are on the verge of development. Wind energy is a clean as well as a cheap source of energy. During the process of energy production, there is no emission of carbon dioxide or any other gas, thus this source of energy generation should be taken up on a large-scale basis. Wind energy is the one energy that is predictable, there is no fluctuation in the flow of wind, and thus the investment in this source of energy is greatly advised. Especially now, that the wind energy industry is on its way to a massive boom. The wind energy production or generation process is more or less a onetime investment of a great principal amount. Thus, there is great competition in this field. However, Vestas Wind Energy is coming up with the latest and cheapest ways of technological enhancement to ensure optimum generation but also at the same time, giving maximum returns to its investors. The best thing about Vestas Wind Energy is that, all of the above is made possible in the cheapest, cleanest and most environment friendly manner. Vestas Wind Energy is the next step to a better future.
