Energy efficiency defines the efficiency of the energy that is produced by the water. Water is a natural resource with is renewable to some extent. Therefore it is a duty of all of us to maintain the purity and with availability of water by using water respectfully and not wasting it. There are certain facts to be taken in to consideration to note as to what is the actual consumption of water by its various utilities so that we can take steps to reduce the unnecessary usage of water. This generation of energy from the water is called as hydropower or water power. They are generated using the force of the flowing or running water. Before the invention or the inception of the electric power water power was used for various purposes which electric power is used now-a-days! They are usually done with the help of watermills etc. the energy produced by the various water bodies. They are used also for the operation of many industrial purposes. This water energy has been in use for centuries now and they have been done efficiently.

They have historical implications from the history of all the countries. They have been used for various purposes and the roots are said to have come from various implications. Water efficiency would be then considered if they are good enough to substitute the energy generated from various other resources. The most important factor to be considered is that the generation of hydropower does not use the water directly instead it only uses the force of the water flow or the current available in the water.

The generation of this energy would be such an option to encourage sustainability which is the need of the day and is good for the future generations as it would save more of the non renewable resources for them and thereby give them a good quality of living. Generation of energy from such natural resources would be the best option to give a sustained approach to the entire process of energy production. This will help us reduce the injuries caused by the various natural issues like global warning by not depleting the non renewable resources. The contribution of the water energy to the overall energy requirement of all the consumers is very vital and has a greater impact. Water is available around the globe but usable water is very less so use water efficiently.
