The people seem to have realized the harm which they do the environment and we can see that there is an increasing demand of the wind energy sources producing electricity. It seems to be one of the greatest achievements which the scientists have ever made. When the first wind turbine was produced, in 1980, it could produce only 50 kilowatts which was hardly enough for 1 household. However, the hard work of so many people seems to have given results because at present, the wind turbines produce 5 megawatts of electricity which is 100 times more. It is really amazing!

But let’s get back to the increasing demand of such wind turbines. It is the main reason for the appearance of a new industry- the wind turbines production. There are more and more companies on the market which manufacture turbines and other “installations” which generate electricity by using the wind energy and wind power.

One of the most famous companies in the field is Energy Map! The company seems to be gaining more and more popularity and its intensions are to keep the first place for a very long time. What the company offers is wind turbines of high quality- they can produce up to5 megawatts of electricity. And what probably keep the company at the top of the list are the extremely competitive prices of all products and the great quality of services which are offered.

However, you should not think that there is only one company producing installations for generating electricity by using the wind energy. I am just going to give you some figures: China produces 5% more electricity from wind turbines than it used to produce in 2008. So we can say that in 10 years China will have increased the generated electricity from wind turbines with 50 per cent! It sounds amazing, don’t you think so? And here is some information about other countries also: the USA- a steady increase of 4%, Canada- a steady increase of 3.2%, Germany- a steady increase of 4.3% and India- a steady increase of 2.8%. Those are all figures which serve to say just one thing- the increasing demand of wind turbines cannot be handled by the same amount of wind energy companies. The result is the foundation of many new companies which are also very profitable because of the high demand!

And the best thing is that there are more and more companies which make the decision to use the wind energy also. They purchase many wind turbines and satisfy their needs of electricity without doing harm to the environment! That is really great news and we can only hope that the number of such companies will continue increasing!
