It is unfortunate, but this is why the hydrogen sulfide detector exists, so you can avoid this type of tragedy and nip it in the bud before anything happens. You don’t want to put anyone in danger, least of all yourself and if you have any small children around you are going to want to be extra careful, because sulfides are deadly.
