Duties in the mine may include extraction of gold ore by either drilling or the use of gold panning or other methods used in extraction, loading ores into the available transport systems this could be cars conveyors, trucks etc. Operation of auxiliary plants such as air condition equipments, water flow systems etc, installation and maintenance of electrical lightings in the mines and other service equipments, monitoring of operations and this is not limited to overseeing of  proper running of projects and ensuring that the safety of workers is observed at all times.

 

Other works at the mine will call for specialized personnel - this could be a registered mine manager, assistance manager, a mine deputy and an open cut examiner. Mine rules and regulations should always be adhered to at all times, failure to observe this can cause fatal damages to the mine. Safety and health rules should also be observed to prevent taskforce injuries or death.
