At a mine camp manpower to perform duties is very much needed and this taskforce will work at different mine sections performing different duties that are of importance to the well being and performance of the mine. A mine is normally headed by a registered mine manager and his assistant. This personnel’s work is that of overseeing the whole mining operations and he is also in charge of giving directions on where and how to extract minerals.
The mine manager will also be concerned with logistics at the mine. Professional execution of his role is what will determine the level of output a mine is to have and the mine manager usually has an assistant to help him with his duties. There is also the mine supervisor and the open cut miner - these two groups of task force are concerned with the actual mining process, the extraction placement and extraction of minerals. These two people will advice the managerial team on how best to undertake a mining process.
There is also an open cut examiner and this personnel will be found in the underground mines and most of the time his work is that of examining the holding strength of the underground mine. This is a very important person that is responsible for the lives of many people at a mine. His examination research must be error free and precise, failure to which may cost the lives of many people at that mining site. His deduction is meant to give the general stability of the mine and he will work with other specialized mining personnel to make sure that the mine is preserved.
Common cores in a mine will be those of loading of ores into the available transportation system, undertaking mine development works, installation and maintenance of lighting equipments, and other service oriented chores. Others include monitoring of operation at the mining plant, ensuring that all rules and guidelines are observed at all times, operating of auxiliary plants, equipments such as air conditioners, water flow machines, mud extracting machines. It is important for all groups of taskforce to work together for one common goal, this will ensure that all components of work ethics are adhered to which in turn will guarantee success at the mine.
