Construction Management Association Of America
The Construction Management Association of America, also known as CMAA, is construction management association is a group intended to support and promote the growth and acceptance of construction management as a professional discipline. Construction management associations are beginning to be founded around the world, but the largest and best known is the Construction Management Association of America.
As the world's leading construction management association, the Construction Management Association of America has a membership of more than 5000 individuals and firms. Their members include owners, engineers, architects, contractors, educators and students. Each member of the CMAA receives the latest information on construction management developments and trends, as well as job leads. They are also invited to attend training seminars on the latest technologies, including on Building Information Modeling (BIM), the most advanced three-dimensional modeling program currently available.
Members of the Construction Management Association of America are held to codes of ethics and accountability, and violating those standards could lead to dismissal from the organization or worse. A construction management association frequently sends its members information on the latest changes in construction laws or information how to take certification exams. In most cases, they also make manuals and test preparation guides available to their membership.

A portion of the dues paid by members of the CMAA goes towards these lobbying efforts on the assumption that they will support the construction management profession in the long term.
