Aluminum Poles
If you are a pretty active family, with a kid in a soccer league, or go on a lot of camping trips, or maybe you just want a nice canopy in your back yard that you haven’t had before, then you may want to look into investing in some aluminum poles. People think that it is hard to build a canopy or a sort of miniature shelter to be used in the backyard or the front yard or to be set up at soccer games, etc., but the fact is, the aluminum is actually one of the better materials to use and it will make it a lot less complicated a task than it seems at first. Adding aluminum poles to your project and sticking a few of those in the ground will help you pitch a tent nicely and that way you are not in an awkward position of trying to find wood or some other material. The thing that makes aluminum poles so perfect for this job is that they are holding up very little weight. In fact there is almost no weight that it is holding up, just a bit of heavy duty cloth which in comparison to a fully developed metal weighs almost nothing. The reason people are afraid of aluminum in construction and why it has this negative stigma attached to it is because aluminum is soft and malleable and not able to support as much weight as other metals. This makes people want to stay away from products like aluminum poles automatically, but the fact is, unless you’re trying to create a base for a sky scraper then this will be just fine to suit your needs.
The best part is that it is cheaper. People think because they buy steel poles or copper poles instead of aluminum that they are paying more to get a higher quality but really they’re just wasting their money. Steel only costs more because it costs more to make, and it only costs more to make because the process is so complicated. Sure steel may be more powerful that aluminum by great amounts, but like I said, this power is negligible to anyone doing a home project of this caliber and is not something that the average person should concern themselves with or get all worked up about. This is a negligible amount and something that can easily be ignored by the common person because unless you’re in construction, there really is no need to go all out on a more expensive product when you can settle for cheaper and it will suit you just as well. Don’t buy into the hype!
