Maintenance of your aluminum trim is important, if you hope to uphold its aesthetic appeal for a long period of time. As durable and strong as aluminum is, it sometimes suffers from poor maintenance when the luster disappears. The best way to prevent this is by anodizing the aluminum beforehand. This helps increase the thickness of the oxide layer coating, which further helps to protect your aluminum. If this has already been done and your aluminum trim has still lost its appeal, it’s the time to consider polishing it. With an aluminum polish and a rotary polisher, you can restore the shine back to your trim.
