Coal Mining Training

Coal mining training is similar to firefighter training. Not in practice of the actual training itself but in ethos. One must be taught to work in teams as this is the most important part of coal mining, some would argue even more so than actually obtaining the coal itself. This is because if one person is down there in the mine working as a single unit, they will get so much less work done. Logic follows that if several individuals are all down there working on their own agendas and trying to all get one task that they set forth for themselves accomplished, they will fall short. They will not be able to get as much done in a day as a unit of coal miners all working together. This is why teaching teamwork is such an important part of coal mining training. There has to be one common goal that every member of the team can aspire towards and that way they will all be able to formulate a certain plan for achieving what they need to do and if they all work together at it in a system, it is more sure to get done than if someone tried tackling a bunch of grandiose ideals alone.

It then follows that most miners are trained in teams and once their coal mining training is accomplished, they will work in teams with at least a majority of the individuals that they started out with during training. Establishing a camaraderie and brotherhood amongst the miners as they are just beginning is essential to maintaining harmony and equilibrium down in the mines. If anyone gets lost or has trouble or has problems that they need to resolve, other miners, trained to be of as much assistance to their fellow miners as possible will abandon the job and work at finding the lost or getting the injured proper medical attention. It is better that all links in this chain called mining are all wt top strength and durability or else the full quality of the mining expedition that day will be at risk. They cannot afford to let one person slack or to let one person die or to let one person be harmed because every job that is done by the team relies on the collective strength of the team. When one team member is injured so is the entire team. If more people had this mentality, the human race as a whole would be much better off.
