Information On Coal
There are many places you can go to get information on coal but the best information is usually found from the source itself, the miners. Most miners are aware of how to obtain the coal, what to do with the coal once it is mined, where the coal goes once it is deposited with their superiors, and what is done with the coal once it has been distributed. These people are very knowledgeable about where coal goes and what it does and is used for because they work with it on a daily basis; they have to be educated on it. Information on coal can sometimes be found as easily as typing those words into a search engine. Lots of people these days are routinely searching for information on coal so that they can also get facts about alternative energies, because as we have learned recently, while coal is efficient at what it does, it is also harmful to the environment. We are trying to research ways to combat the negative effects of coal and continue using coal. This is mostly to obtain balance within the coal industry because once we lose coal, we lose jobs. Justas much money is being funneled into finding out how to preserve our use of coal as is the money being sent to researchers trying to find coal alternatives.
This is because we want to find a way to keep the economic system balanced. We need to be concerned with saving our planet, but saving our planet isn’t helpful if the people on it are suffering. This is similar to the argument on vegetarianism and why we still eat meat. We have naturally evolved enough to understand that killing animals is a form of torture, but we keep doing it not necessarily because we are cruel, but because if we stopped, thousands upon thousands of people would lose jobs in the meat industry, and our system simply cannot take that kind of upheaval at the present time. We need to ease into everything we do and this need to be taken baby step by baby step. We need to be cautious about all the changes we make in the coal industry and make sure that the information on coal that we have is used wisely and is accurately researched. If this is not taken into account then the consequences will be very apparent. We need to stay educated and know what’s going on within our coal industry and the environment.
