Copper and zinc are two of the most important metals which our civilizations cannot do without even for a day. However, have you ever asked yourself the question what these two metals have in common? The presence of copper in our blood has been proven for sure but there is not a clear ‘task’ which it serves for. However, it has been noticed that people with low levels of copper in their organism often suffer from untypical for their age, social class or race diseases.

Copper and zinc definitely have much more in common than you were expecting, don’t they? But we have not finished yet. What makes these two metals so useful in our lives is the possibility to mix them. The ‘mixture’ is called brass and it has a whole bunch of usages which you do not even know about. For example, you probably think that the wire conductors are made out of copper. Yes, that is true but some other metals are often included also. So the conductors could also be considered as a usage of the brass.

Copper and zinc are really amazing elements and our world would definitely not look the same way without them. No matter what they talk about them, you should know that if copper and zinc could not be obtained, the life today would be much more different and probably even worse.
