Sell Copper

It is not hard to sell copper these days, especially when so many people are buying. There is copper to be sold everywhere precisely because there is no longer copper to be found everywhere. It is something that everybody wants and that if you have an eye for business, you can make a serious profit in if you are serious, and know what you’re doing. Honestly though, as much as I talk it up, it is not that hard to find someone willing to buy your copper and chances are if you don’t know where to sell copper, someone around you certainly does, and can either agree to take you, or you can sell to them at a reduced amount. Just look at the high demand for copper out there these days. Copper prices have tripled only in the past year and aren’t soon to slow down.

What you need to do in order to get a respectable collection though is collect every copper piece you’ve found. Seriously, search your house for washers made out of copper, screws, nails, filters, gaskets, any appliances you may think have some copper in them, crack them open and check. It may not seem like a lot at the time but you need to do this if you want to get a respectable amount to sell. It’s hard to believe just looking at the small individual pieces, but it really does add up, believe me. Next what you want to do in order to turn this useless copper into cash is look up all of the salvage yards that will take copper and give you money for it in your area. There are sure to be a few at least. And if not, like I said, there’s sure to be someone out there willing to take the stuff. It may even be possible to sell a box of random copper odds and ends on ebay to someone who will turn it around and turn it into cash at a salvage yard in their own area. Because of how valuable it is, you might as well be selling gold. Of course you won’t get as much for it as you could for actual pounds of gold, but you should be able to still get a fair amount more than you would have a few years ago which is a bonus in itself. Anything you bought that was made out of copper in the last 10 years is now worth at least four times more than it was when you bought it guaranteed. Now is the time to sell copper.
