BP is an oil company which changed itself to an organizational model from being a traditional one. This transformation had impact on the company’s external stakeholders and diverse workforce.

In the interest of the company, it must willingly adapt the changes as quickly as possible without crumbling to pressure. Without which a company is bound to drown and fail. BP survived because they expanded and diversified the world over by introducing innovative ideas and technology to the customers belonging to the new generation.

BP began its venture in the early 1900’s but like it happens in most cases, faced numerous hardships due to politics, financial delays and world wars. The conflict between western and middle-eastern companies over oil profits forced BP to look out for other alterative places for oil. As a result BP had to be foresight and search for different alternatives and work on new technologies that would harness solar and wind energy. Thus the desire for renewable and pollution free fuel arose the world over. BP continues to introduce new energy sources and progressive technology to the world, therefore their future looks brighter than before. This transformation created new jobs for people.

To succeed in their new business transition creating new ideas, researching new skills and technology and diversifying the company became necessary. This would not have been possible without the knowledge of engineering and latest technology. This helped them to discover oil, process and also make profits without annoying environmentalist.

BP strives hard to find people good at chemical researching and harnessing alternative energy like solar, wind and water. To ensure a secure future BP needs to set things like popular support, relationship with investors and its supply and demand in place.

No doubt, the changed made my BP definitely made an impact on the company’s stakeholders and workforce. It diversified because it expanded globally to find new alternatives forms of energy. Its transformation helped create new research and jobs opportunities. Stakeholders also got affected because of their decision. It had to create recruiting programs and find people to meet the requirement of the expanding market. It is their ability to be diverse that helped them become one of the major power industries globally.

This proves that the management as well as the skills workers also need to accommodate and adapt to the changes before supporting the system as this will ensure successful implementation of the changes.
