One of these is the wind mill energy. the power of the wind is a good way to get energy but one wind mill is not enough. You have to build a lot of mills to harness wind. The next issue is on the source itself. You can harness it mostly on secluded areas far from the communities. This poses a big problem when it comes to cost of renewable energy because it is very much expensive to build a wind farm that generates energy that is not enough. It does not match up to the needs for a national energy source.

The cost of renewable energy is sometimes really that great that is why continuous research is being done to help minimized the disadvantages. Some power plants may opt to use a combination of wind and solar energy to be able to cut back on the use of fossil fuels. Homes can benefit greatly on solar energy though it is expensive. The cost of renewable energy might be of a disadvantage to some, but for the environment, this is only a little cost you would have to spend to save energy and to invest for the better future of the next generation. The good thing is that there are options and alternatives to traditional energy usage and if we support continuous research on the energy alternatives, someday, the cost of renewable energy will lessen and it will be accessible to all.
