The maintenance costs for a Stirling engine generator is low but the demand and fuel consumption is high. Stirling engine generators are not high efficiency machines due to the heat loss through the body of the working liquid. Stirling engine generators are ideal for small scale operations that do not require high uptime but demand high efficiency over short periods of time.
