Abrams Industries

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Abrams Industries is involved in several markets ranging from construction, real estate, and energy management. Concerning their construction division, Abrams Industries focuses on new construction projects for retail, distribution, expansion projects, and other commercial ventures. In the company's real estate division, they are involved in commercial properties throughout the Southeast and Midwest sections of the U.S. In the energy management division, Abrams Industries assists clients in various managerial and construction methods to reduce energy consumption. This is designed to lower costs which helps save companies money as well as being environmentally conscious. These methods include setting up assorted energy infrastructures for peak efficiency and research into energy solutions.

For years, Abrams Industries has been primarily concentrated on construction and real estate. Throughout the industry boom of the 80's and 90's, Abrams' construction division prospered financially. Unfortunately, the company's real estate division was lagging, mostly in part to catering to one client. Only by branching out with a wider client base were they able to recover.

During the late 1990's Abrams Industries created a new division that focused on energy. This division bought up other energy companies, including the facilities management company Servidyne and later Wheatstone Energy Group. It was through the Wheatstone company that Abrams got into the construction of and design of more energy efficient buildings.

In 2006, Abrams Industries changed their name to Servidyne, Inc and created a new business plan. By adopting a new name, the old Abrams company was able to merge all of their divisions under one single brand name. The company transformation proved to be a success and in 2006, Servidyne was the winner of the Energy Star Partner of the Year award for the sixth consecutive year in a row.

Now operating as the new Servidyne, Inc, the company has become one of the leaders of energy conservation for commercial properties. Servidyne, Inc. provides several services for their clients such as engineering management, infrastructure upgrades, and facility management services. Servidyne, Inc.also provides energy efficient products as well as environmental solutions. Now listed on the NADAQ, Servidyne Inc. has operations both internally and abroad.
