AMEC is corporation headquartered in London England which services the oil, gas, power, mining, nuclear, and water industries. AMEC is a multi- faceted corporation which includes engineering , project management , and acts as a consultant for many of the power related industries.

AMEC is located world wide and employs approximately 23000 people. Offices are found in over 30 countries including, Russia, Peru, Kuwait, China

Chile Canada, and the United States. AMEC is structured in 3 different ways Earth and Environmental, Natural Resources, and Power and Process.

The Earth and Environmental area provides environmental services to companies, and geographical consulting. The Power and Process, area provides management services and consulting for the nuclear, and power industries, and the Natural resource division provides mismanagement services for the mining, gas and oil companies. Some of the biggest projects that AMEX is involved in is contracts with Kuwait, to provide oils services, and to BP's international division
