Stainless Steel Grill

Grills are not a piece of equipment which is popular all over the world. For example, there are very few amongst the European and Asian households which have their own grills for grilling meat (steaks, hot-dogs or whatever else). Anyway it is probably not difficult to come up with the idea that this piece of electricity or gas equipment is most popular in the United States. According to some independent organizations’ surveys 90% of the American families living in a house own a grill (usually a stainless steel grill).

And here comes the question: why do people tend exactly this kind of grills. Do they give any advantages? If you think about it carefully, you will come to the conclusion that there are not many options which a prospective buyer could choose among: there are mainly grills made of stainless steel, ordinary steel or aluminum. To sum up, whatever choice you make, the grill will look pretty much the same way since the three substances used for the grills’ production are very similar. Perhaps, the main difference would be that an aluminum grill weight quite less than the stainless steel grill for example.

Okay, one disadvantage of the steel grills has been given so far. And to be frank, it is the only one but there are many advantages which this kind of grills gives. For example, what do you think about the conduction? Aluminum is a very good conductor of heat which means that when grilling, it becomes hot very fast. That makes it unsafe and increases the risk of burning which is to serious to serve as compensation for the light weight, don’t you think so? As in many other ‘games’, the principle “safety first” is valid here also.

And there is just one more thing you need to know: a stainless steel grill could be used in both electricity and gas ‘version’. That is a good advantage even though nearly 100% of the people prefer using gas for heating because this way the grill could be practically used everywhere (the cabals do not impose any restrictions). If you are bothered by the price (which may vary between $700 and $2.000) you should know that you can always get a second-hand grill at a great rate. And do not be bothered by the heaviness of the stainless steel grill at all. All of the grills are wheeled so the weight is not of as much significance as you probably thought it to be.
