Commercial Wind Turbines

The turbines that are out there in the form of commercial wind turbines are some of the strongest on the market. The phrase on the market is probably used incorrectly though as these are not strictly on the market. You can’t simply walk into a store and say you want to look at some commercial wind turbines or walk into Wal-Mart and see a giant turbine for sale. Commercial wind turbines are not really for sale. You have to commission them to be built, as they are about 300 times the size of your average person. These are giant things and you normally only see them in the form of wind farms in groups of hundreds or thousands. Think of how bizarre it would be for you to see a house in your neighborhood with a giant 500 foot tall wind turbine jutting out of their back yard? This one would probably be enough to power the entire neighborhood if utilized correctly, but it would also cost millions of dollars to build and your average neighbor does not usually have a million dollars to throw out on a gigantic windmill. One of this size may save you thousands of dollars over the course of the rest of your life, but you would have to have had all of the lights on and all of your outlets used for all of your electronics at full blast from the time you were born for this to be able to put a dent in your electric bills, I mean you will never have to worry about being billed for electricity again, but for the million to have been worth it, what I’m saying is you would have been expected to have used up several million dollars worth of electricity over the course of the rest of your life, and this is feasible for absolutely no one. No one person can consume that much electricity in one home.

It is still nice to look at all of the models of the commercial wind turbines just to educate yourself and see what is available though. Many people don’t realize this, but there is more than one brand out there, and there are several companies that would delight in having your business. There is not one giant windmill that the government forces everyone to install, just as with any other product, there are brands to choose from and companies behind those brands. If you know what type of turbine is controlling the electricity in your neighborhood it might be fun to research it. You might be surprised by what you find.
