Flodesign Wind Turbine

The flodesign wind turbine is another wind turbine that is designed to take in the kinetic energy provided by the wind and convert this into usable electric energy that can be utilized by any kind of electronics out there. This is a system that has been going on for a while now and has increased in popularity recently because of research done which shows that coal is going to be running out soon. How soon, is a little up for debate, but some reports say that the coal will all be gone inside of 50 years and some say that we can stretch what we already have for another 50 years past that if we account for growth of the wind industry and our clean coal solutions as well. But whether they like it or not, the coal industry is going to be all dried out when all the mines dry out, so we are going to have to rely on wind energy technologies such as the flodesign wind turbine to help carry us through into the next millennium. We will not survive another millennium if this kind of abuse of the available coal we have. We need to concentrate efforts on developing alternative methods since we cannot rely on coal forever and we know it. We have been developing and even utilizing wind turbines forever, specifically in a pinwheel shape thought there are many other designs we are experimenting with. What makes the flodesign wind turbine different from anything else on the market though is its concept. It was designed and modeled after jet engines.

The efficiency of a jet engine at taking in and pushing out air is astounding and with the right inner workings and mechanisms this device can basically be set to self control the entire time so we never have to worry about how it is going to get itself started or anything like that. Only with this design, the pushing out of the wind energy will cause the wind to actually pus against it, causing an eternal cycle of air to keep pushing in both sides and creating an infinite loop of wind from which the electrical sockets will be able to draw, allowing it to charge the massive battery that will be running the whole city essentially. This is a little bit better than the standard pin wheel model because we will know that it will suck in more energy at a faster rate, though it is currently still in the developmental stages.
