Industrial Wind Turbines

We can thank industrial wind turbines and other various sources for about 60 percent of our national energy resources. Thanks to these very new and innovative high tech energy sources, we will not have to rely as much as we do on coal. Currently 60% may seem like a lot and it may seem like no big deal if coal silently drops off the face of the Earth, as it one day undoubtedly will, but 40% is still a major amount and we should strive to reach a minimum of 95% coverage using only industrial wind turbines by the year 2060 or by the year 2110 depending on when we get all of this sorted out. The problem is, it seems coal is no longer going to be a viable resource, so soon it will really come down to nothing but industrial wind turbines and that is all we will be able to use. This is why making the transition now is o important. If we sit around twiddling our thumbs for too long people will take advantage of that, like Australia. They already have industrial wind turbines controlling near 50 percent of their national electricity and this is leagues and leagues better than where we are at right now. It is going to be a tough transition and it is going to take time but it is crucial now more than ever to make sure to so this soon.

One way to help this transition will be if we try to assemble our own wind turbines in our back yard. Using a solitary turbine in your backyard may not seem like such a big way to affect our national energy usage, but let’s say that in every home people use around 20 plugs per household or 20 items that require electrical power on a daily basis. For the sake of easier calculations we will assume they are never turned off because no matter what the results are we will be able to see a distinct difference. Now if even one of these devices was plugged into a turbine outside and it was one of the devices that was more inconsequential than the rest, then you wouldn’t have to worry about the flow of electricity to it cutting off because it wouldn’t matter that much if it did, such as a microwave, and at the same time you will have saved 5%on your electric bill. 5% doesn’t sound like much, but if every household did it, that 5% could end up being billions of dollars, and that really is a large amount.
