Second hand wind turbines is a term that you do not see applied to turbines used in the field too often, and when I say in the field I mean to say used by energy companies. Not many energy companies just choose to sell off their gigantic multimillion dollar wind turbines, and chances are if you’re on the internet searching for the phrase secondhand in anything then you are likely not a rich man. The good news is if you are living in a residential situation, second hand wind turbines could be the key to saving tons and tons of money in the future as long as you stick with it all year and make sure to use it on whatever you can. One option may be to browse through second hand wind turbines but another option might be to try to build one by yourself. If you have a flair for crafts or just really like saving money then you might want to go for that route since it would also mean that you are able to go out and get out of the house and sort of make an adventure of it. Making wind turbines can also be a great family task, albeit a little unconventional. Trust me, I did this with my family last week and they loved it. We now have a beautiful new wind turbine in our backyard and are going to save 50 dollars on electricity every month.

They also sell mini wind turbines out there new and used, but it’s not even worth considering getting a new one. They are far too expensive and you could save yourself a few thousand dollars by just getting a hundred dollars worth of material at the home depot and building your own. There’d be no reason not to. What would be stopping you? You may not be the best with crafts, but I think anyone can convince themselves to get better at something if it means the difference between a hundred dollars and a thousand dollars. People that search for secondhand items on the internet are obviously going to be a bit more frugal. That hundred dollars you might have to spend to buy supplies may sound like a lot of money now, but add up all the money it will save you in electricity and you’ll end up seeing that you save and entire years worth of pay in just ten years and you’ll realize just how important it is to cut down on electricity usage if it is not self supplied.
