Wind Power Advantages
The wind power advantages are many in number. The thing about wind is that it is renewable, and this is the thing that makes it better than coal. I mean there are many reasons that wind power can be better than coal, but this is the single main reason that most people cite when they say that wind power is better than coal. Because now that we have the technology to produce so much coal at once combined with the math and geology skills to honestly estimate how long we will be able to maintain our coal usage at the current rate of consumption, we have been able to see that coal won’t be around for long. This isn’t because we’re simply going to stop one day but because we are going to run out. There will be no more coal to use because it will all be gone. It doesn’t take a science genius either to know that it takes coal millions of years to form and that once one piece of coal is burned, it is gone for good. The smoke goes into the atmosphere, the steam is transferred into electrical energy and the ash is thrown away in a landfill and that was all that was left of that specific bit of coal. That is as useful as coal is. We won’t be able to use it after a certain amount of time, and that’s just the way it goes. There is nothing we can do about it other than to lessen our usage of it. One day, all the organic plant and flesh matter will turn into coal and all of our v bodies will likely become coal, but this will take years upon years and we cannot reasonably think that this is a sustainable way of life. The only thing we can do is go to another energy source, and this other energy source is wind energy because of all of its wind power advantages.
Some more wind power advantages include the fact that it is also a healthy energy source. Coal and oil do a lot of damage to our atmosphere, more than we realize. And if the atmospheric health is not enough to convince you, coal can also have adverse effects on your health directly. It is estimated that coal reduces the lives of nearly 5000 people annually, and kills many more. If you live by a coal plant you may want to consider moving sometime in the near future to save yourself some medical bills.
